Get Rid Of Fearful Feelings From your Life

Any seemingly terrifying situation or condition in your life, whatever it may be, is not the real problem. It’s your reaction to it that has you shaking. Which is why, if you’ll become truly conscious of a fearful condition instead of afraid of it, you’ll change forever your relationship with fear.
According to Charles R. Swindoll life is 10 percent what happens to you and 90 percent how you react to it.

Getting through fear is a skill that anyone can learn. The problem is that most people cling to their fears, because it’s part of who they are.

Being conscious of your fear empowers you to interact with it in an entirely new way. This new inner relationship gives you the power to be awake to fear’s scary influences, instead of being their unconscious slave. And as each day you discover something new about the shaky nature of your own fearful reactions, they lose their power over you because you see them for what they have always been: unintelligent, mechanical forces.



If you aren’t ready to face your fears, you probably won’t transcend them. And there’s nothing wrong in that. Everything happens in its own time.

Fear is really nothing other than a self-limiting reaction that we’ve always mistaken for a shield of self-protection.

It’s time to let it go, which you can do anytime you want.  Let’s have a look at some of the ways of dealing with fear.

Awareness

Before you can overcome fear, you have to be aware that your fears are causing havoc in your life. It’s easy to get so attached to your thoughts and feelings that you think they are all that exist, which couldn’t be further from the truth. You are not your fears. You are the awareness that experiences it.

Acknowledge that fear is there. Trying to deny, avoid, ignore or bury our fear simply makes it stronger. Rather than run away from our fear, we can look upon it as a messenger from our own wise knowing. It’s there to get our attention because some belief, pattern or habit needs to be changed.

Fears are just fears. They are created by my imagination to make reality seem scarier than it is. When you take action and face your fears, they become weaker, because you realize that reality isn’t nearly as bad as your imagination.

Learning to deal with fear is all about putting your negative thoughts in perspective. We tend to focus too much on the negative, so by looking at all the options, you often realize that you’re making a big deal of nothing..
