Finding your life purpose through your passion

“If you can’t figure out your purpose, figure out your passion. For your passion will lead you right into your purpose.”- TD Jakes

Purpose is the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists. What it means to have purpose is that purpose can guide life decisions, influence behavior, shape goals, offer a sense of direction, and create meaning. For some people, purpose is connected to vocation—meaningful, satisfying work. For others, their purpose lies in their responsibilities to their family or friends.
In driving your passion to fulfill your purpose you have to pay detail attention to your passion.  What are your passions? Do you know?

We all gravitate towards certain things more than others. For some of us, it’s a passion for music, for others its words, for others its people or animals. Whatever it is, you must never let this passion die out. You must never ignore it. Spend as much time with this passion as possible and in so doing you will truly find your purpose in life. Make it part of your life plan to explore the things that truly ignite you.

We are becoming increasingly aware of the many opinions and differences existing between people. Listening to some people, one should be worried about their lack of energy and can be said to not have energy towards achieving a perceived purpose. The best thing is to choose to ignore them and nap away!! If you listen to everyone, you will be changing your style and choices more often than changing diapers!

The truth is we are all different. We all have different passions in life that drive our purpose. We all have different priorities shaped by our values and often our past. As they say, we are all wired differently.

When you can recognize your top values, you understand they are your passions. They are what drive you. It is your passions that shape the person you are and the people you reach through your life. If we were all the same, we would all be reaching the same people, and trained to be the same.

Passion defines purpose. God made you! He wove in your values and passions as He carefully created your mind and heart. Let’s stop looking to the passions and values shaping the talents of others. Instead let’s renew our minds to the purpose of the different passions He planted in each one of us.

God has created YOU with passions to fulfill His purpose for you:

If you want to be fulfilled, happy, content, and experience inner peace and ultimate fulfillment, it’s critical that you learn how to find your passion and life purpose. Without a life purpose as the compass to guide you, your goals and action plans may not ultimately fulfill you
